A Message from The Lobster Pod

It is with genuine sadness that we have been forced to close The Lobster Pod during what should have been our busiest Summer season.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Whether you joined us for a special occasion, a relaxed meal overlooking the sea, or simply called in for a drink and a catch-up, your support has meant the world to us.

If we are honest, the hospitality industry continues to face significant challenges. Rising operating costs, increasing employment expenses, and ongoing staffing difficulties are affecting many businesses across the country and, unfortunately, we have not been immune to those pressures.

Whilst this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we firmly believe it is the right decision at this time. Rather than continue to compromise on the experience we strive to provide, we have chosen to take a step back, regroup, and carefully plan for the future.

The good news is that this is not goodbye.

Over the coming months we will be reviewing our offering, exploring new ideas, and preparing for a fresh start. We look forward to welcoming you back next season with a renewed concept, plenty of enthusiasm, and the same warm hospitality that has always been at the heart of what we do.

Until then, thank you once again for your loyalty, encouragement and support.
