Dining out with a difference

The Lobster Pod Bistro is a unique dining experience in Hope Cove. Situated overlooking the harbour and beach, it has spectacular views across Bigbury Bay and both indoor and outdoor seating. The latter include heated enclosed pods with comfortable seating and tables. There are also takeaway meals and the ability to purchase uncooked fish.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Due to unexpected staff shortages, The Lobster Pod will be temporarily closed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We are actively addressing the issue and will post our reopening date here as soon as possible.

Open five days a week (closed on Monday and Tuesday until further notice)

We have 4 bookable pods which accommodate up to 8 persons. Bookings are for 1 hr 45 minutes at a time giving you plenty of time to finish your meal. For your comfort, the pods have heating and Bluetooth sound systems.

We also have our Cabin with plenty of tables available seating up to four persons each. It is not possible to book tables in the cabin. They, along with our outside seating, are on a first come, first serve basis only.

Unbooked seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.
