South Devon’s new place to eat
LOBSTER POD OUTDOOR AND TAKE-AWAY RE-OPENING 17th APRIL 2021
Thank you for all your emails, bookings and wishes! We are all well and we are looking forward to welcoming you in April.
We apologise for keeping you waiting for information when and on what terms we will be open. We tried hard, talking with the relevant authorities, but unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate you in our pods before May 17th when the lockdown will finally end.
We have made some changes during this time: the major one was to extend our kitchen and create a proper take-away station. However, due to a delay with the kitchen equipment delivery, our opening date will be April 17th.
Please email us via our website or message on the Facebook page to make a reservation for our outside benches – we will keep a few of them for walk-ins as well. Unfortunately we have no control over the weather conditions so please note we will not be able to let you inside the Cabin or Pods if it starts to rain.
All bookings made for Pods prior to 17th May have been cancelled – we are sorry to disappoint you.
Roadmap to re-opening:
Step 1: from April 17th to May 16th
Takeaway and outside benches open 11am–7(ish)pm (weather permitting). Last orders at 6pm. Please email to reserve a table – walk-ins welcome. 2½ hour slots, rule of 6 still in power.
Step 2: from May 17th
We will be fully open 12 noon–10pm. Last orders at 9pm. Please book a pod online (the diary is now open for the whole year) or email to book an outside bench/indoor table in our cabin. Rule of 6 in power until regulations change.
All dates are dependent on the Government guidelines remaining unchanged.
