Book your pod for ease of mind

We have 4 bookable pods which accommodate from 2 to 10 persons depending on the pod. Bookings are for 1 hr 45 minutes at a time giving you plenty of time to finish your meal. For your comfort, the pods have heating and Bluetooth sound systems (and a telephone for requesting further drinks!)

We are also open for walk-ins – feel free to pop in for food or just a drink.

Pods can be hired for half or whole days. Please enquire at the Bistro for further information.

Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

FAQs

Q. Can I bring our dog into the pod?
A. Yes but it must be on a lead. Please bring a towel if you want it to join you on a seat.

Q. How big are the pods?
A. We say they take up to 10 adults

Q. Is the system working correctly as I can't find any availability?
A. We have only 4 bookable pods – they are all taken if the system shows no availability. Sorry. But do keep a close eye as sometimes people cancel which you can see comes up on the booking chart.

Q. Do you have a waiting list for a pod?
A. No. This is a live system and as soon as someone cancels, another can book. You can check it from time to time for cancellations or inquire about outside tables using the contact page.

Q. Can I cancel my pod reservation?
A. You can do it very easily. Just click on the cancel button in your confirmation which will send you a confirmation email (check your spam folder if not received).

Q. Are there any charges to hire a pod?
A. There is no extra charges but the time you can spend in a pod is limited.

Q. Can I bring a birthday cake?
A. Yes. We will happily serve it to you as well.

Q. Can I pre-order lobster?
A. No, We keep our lobsters in a tank and we very rarely run out. However, it is dependent on our suppliers. If the weather is not good for fishing for a few days, we may struggle to get some.

Q. Can I pre-order takeaway?
A. No. Please order takeaway at the bistro. We will let you know the waiting time. At the height of season, a takeaway collection point is at a sign near the lobster tank to stop people blocking the cliff path.

Q. We have an outside table – what happens if the weather changes during our meal?
A. The outside tables have sun umbrellas only. They are OK with drizzle but useless in heavy rain. We have only 6 indoor spaces so there is a chance we will have one for you if the weather changes.
